Gatlinburg City Hall, Public Safety Addition
Gatlinburg City Hall addition and renovation reimagines the municipal complex located on the East Parkway, enhancing capacity and accessibility while preserving the original building’s historic character. A new, light-filled connector atrium links the upgraded council chambers with expanded administrative wings, improving wayfinding and transparency between city staff and the public. A harmonious interplay of natural light, textured finishes, and generous transitional zones fosters a warm, inviting atmosphere that reflects Gatlinburg’s unique community spirit. Upgraded accessibility features—including a dedicated elevator and fully ADA-compliant restrooms—ensure all residents can engage fully in civic life. Integrated stormwater gardens and energy-efficient systems underscore Gatlinburg’s commitment to sustainability. Designed for the City of Gatlinburg, this project revitalizes a cherished civic landmark to meet today’s needs and accommodate tomorrow’s growth.
